POSITION: FAMILY SERVICES WORKER LOCATION: Hours: 39 hrs/wk, 48 wks/yr SALARY: $10.36-$11.54 per hour depending on education REQUIRES: Requires Associate’s OR Bachelor’s degree in Human Development, Social Work, or Social Science. Social Service training or experience preferred. One to Three years experience with young children and families. Office and computer knowledge required. Prefer demonstrated interpersonal skills preferred and ability to respond effectively in human service situations preferred. Pre-employment drug screen and background check required. Must also pass Physical Screening and negative TB test. Bilingual (English/Spanish) required. DUTIES: Provide family focused services that will include a case management approach to assist families with setting goals based upon individual strengths and needs. Link families/parents to community services and resources. Facilitate, organize and operate Parent Committee activities and events as directed. Recruit children and families. Implement strategies/activities to maintain current enrollment and service information. Maintain Center records.
