Child Start is working to educate individuals, providers, community leaders, employers, media, and elected officials on those issues affecting quality child care. 

Community Services include:

• Working to increase the availability, accessibility, and quality of family child care homes and centers.
• Advocating for children and families on a national, state and local level.
• Visibility events
• Collecting, analyzing and disseminating data on family and child care demographics that guide policy planning.
• Participating in state and local partnerships that are designed to meet the needs of children and families.
• Providing child care information to the Media.
