POSITION:         ASSISTANT BUS DRIVER

LOCATION:      

HOURS:              30 hrs/wk, 40 wks/yr                

SALARY:             $9.53 per hour

REQUIRES:        State of Kansas Commercial Drivers License (CDL) required with “P” and “S” endorsements.   Trained in first aid a plus.  Will attend training:  Signs & Symptoms of Childhood Illnesses, Child Abuse Recognition and Reporting, CPR, First Aid and Universal Precautions.  Must be able to relate to children and adults.  Must pass DOT drug screening and physical examination.   

DUTIES:              Assist Driver in the safe operation of the bus.  Provide for passenger safety in all areas of the transportation process.  Serve as communications link between the home and the center.  To drive the bus routes filling in for the drivers in their absence.
